When decorating a home, there are different types of candle holders that are available on the market today, such as wall candle holders. Usually, people use votive candle holder where they can put the whole volume of the votive candles in order to enliven the environment of the house and to make the house smell with a unique fragrance that only candles can give.

Candle holders come in varying forms, dimensions, and measurements not only to cater to the aesthetic needs of the house and the enjoyment of the eyes but most of all, to appropriately hold any votive candles.

Votive Candle Options

Glass votive candle holders enable their users to have a wider array of candles to choose from. Some of these votive candle holders are only a flat surface in a round or rectangular shape that helps to catch any wax that might fall off the side of the candle so that it does not get on the table or shelf where the candle is hosted.  

Others are a taller container in either a round or rectangular shape which the candle can slide into. These can be bought in a slightly larger size than is necessary for the candle so that colored rocks or other decorative items can be placed in the votive candle holder to add even more color to the candle or to change things up for the different seasons.

Besides glass votive candle holders, there are also holders that are made of metal material, such as a burnished bronze look.  These can be flat or a container shape, such as mentioned above for the glass holders, but they can also come on legs so that the candle is lifted into the air. Moreover, some metal candle holders are also built to hold multiple candles at the same time, to lighten up the room more or just to exude a different atmosphere for the surroundings.

Some votive candle holders are particularly designed to blend in with the design of the room they are placed in. For instance, there is a holder that has a square base and is filled with rocks. The center of the holder is a fountain, and around the fountain are four different candles, each standing at a different level. These holders may have a fountain standing right at the middle and surrounded with candles placed at varying distances from the bottom and from the fountain itself.

  This is like putting the opposing elements of water and light which can give off a harmonious aura to the whole area. There are also votive candle holders that have different designs on the sides of them, such as palm trees. A votive candle holder may be designed with the outline of a palm tree with a candle that rests on top.

Some votive candle holders are particularly built to help the user and the whole house to get more in the mood for an extraordinary event.
